I am trying to gather up money to be able to move out of my abusive parent’s house.. I don’t usually talk about this online but It’s getting to the point where it’s necessary for me, I won’t talk about it in detail here why because I don’t want you lovelies to worry about me. I just wanted to let you know the reason behind it .So if you like my art and my blog it would mean so much if you could support me… Okay no more sappy talk! Here are some more details!~

Hi there lovelies!~ I Usually don’t post thing things like this because I really don’t like drama and unnecessary arguments but sometimes you just have to stand up for yourself , not only for yourself, for others as well who might get into a situation like I did.


I know this might be long but I would really appreciate it if you would read it ;u;


A few months ago I decided to do an art trade with a quite talented traditional artist from Instagram , up until then they seemed trustworthy, they did art trades with several people before and nothing seemed off (If you don’t know what an art trade is , it means drawing something for someone , and you draw something for them in  return)

So we decided to do one together within a weeks time I finished my part ,I basically worked on it all day because I felt intimidated by their quality of art and I felt like mine wasn’t good enough…. I really put a lot of effort in it.

 
This is the piece I did for them of their character.

After I posted my artwork they went completely Hiatus, never posted anything or had any interactions for 6 months. I was like well then , okay they might be going through some rough times,it’s fine it happens.Fast forwards to a month ago, they started posting again, so I contacted them saying “Hey remember me? Hope you are doing better , can you please finish the art you promised? ;u;” They started being extremely defensive and passive aggressive saying that they already have so much shit in their life I shouldn’t put more… but I didn’t give up and persuaded them saying I’ll give them another month to finish it , at this point I said I don’t even care if it’s colored just at least something, after all they promised to do it like half a year ago it’s not much to ask, so they agreed to do it.


Aaand here we are a month later , they didn’t answer my messages, They blocked me..they keep posting art almost every day and they are even doing commissions.

You might think : “oh it’s not that big of a deal! it’s just one drawing!”

Well, actually a spent an entire day working on it , not only that I postponed doing my commissions so I could do it, because I genuinely looked up to this person and wanted to make them happy.


Art is my only income, a lot of you might not believe this but I am extremely poor,sometimes my family doesn’t have anything to eat for days…so for me it is a huge problem. The fact that some people can just have the privilege to do this to someone and get away with it without taking responsibility for their actions is disgusting.

Not only they blocked me , they started blocking every single follower of mine on Instagram who questioned them about the situation, they weren’t even mean or tried to bully them, this level of disrespect for people is intolerable…

Please do not associate with this person, I don’t want you to get the same treatment as me..nobody deserves this.
